Well would ya look at what the McCain camp has went and done now. In the midst of a very heated debate, John McCain once again goes and latches onto an issue, that in his mind, will justify what exactly "middle class America" will likely face in an Obama administration. As many of you have probably heard (and heard ENOUGH of) "Joe The Plumber" is trying to buy his employers business but questioned Obama on the tax "hike" he will face as his annual income will be over 250,000 dollars. McCain then went on to consistently slam Obama on his statement of "spread the wealth around".
Lets take a time out here and really take a look at this. First and foremost, McCain now has a supposed "figure head" of the definition of the middle class America, or do we? Well I think John McCain has to get a grip on what exactly the middle class really consists of, for starters, he might wanna actually use the words "middle class" in his debates. In the past three debates, you never even heard John McCain utter the words "middle class" at all. But now because of this unknown plumber he magically has his finger ont he pulse of middle class America. What type of reality do you live in John McCain? First off its admirable that this plumber has the start up capital to even have the option to purchase this business, but lets face facts here, not all of middle class America has enough money to pay their day to day bills let alone buy a plumbing business. Why doesn't that issue get brought up?
If you really wanna get a gauge of the middle class John McCain go find a man or woman that has to work two jobs just to be able to pay off the bills, put food on the table, and sustain a roof over their families head. Now that to me really says what the middle class represents. This situation can also be blamed on the media as well. All these networks have TV crews outside this mans home and hes even gone as far as holding his own press conference yesterday. Is this stuff for real people? Well if McCain has a bone to pick with Obama about using his phrase of "spread the wealth around" you might want to take a look in the background while "Joe the plumber" is on TV. What you saw was a very nice house, a new SUV in what looks like a pretty well to do neighborhood to me. You want to knock Obama for spreading the wealth around"? Hey McCain , get back in your jet and get back to Michigan and then come talk to me about spreading the wealth around. This Plumber loos like he has the wealth be able to hold down that nice house, car and and set up to me, now bring that mind set back to Michigan where the poverty level alone stands out over the number of nice homes and SUV's that the people in Michigan cant afford due to a flat lined employment future.
Well I'm going on the record today stating that this "Joe the plumber" ordeal needs to really be put to rest. This man in NO WAY represents me, and I consider myself the middle class. John McCain/Sarah Palin stop pretending you know what the middle class is like, stop pushing the fears that your campaign is desperately clinging to, to manipulate the real middle class that has already grown tired of you and your party's pandering.
From a middle class American Joe the plumber, go away, and John McCain and Sarah Palin, instead of smearing and pretending you know, pick up a newspaper and see that the middle class soon enough will no longer even be that if you are more interested in throwing accusations instead of focusing on actually what middle class needs and is loosing.
