Same old Republican Strategy.. Fear, Fear, Fear

As the clock ticks down and more and more Americans are hearing the messages being brought up by the two candidates, only one can imagine why in the world John McCain and Sarah Palin are doing what they are doing. Well to be very honest, you really don't have to wonder a great deal on this. This recent strategy of John McCain, attacking Barack Obama on his character, all simply boils down to one very infamous Republican Strategy, the "Fear" campaign.

Let be honest here, the issues of the associations of William Ayers and Rev. Wright have all been brought out into the open plenty long ago. If memory serves me correctly wasn't this a hot topic during the bitter Primary battle between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama? Didn't Barack Obama condemn the Rev. Wright and disassociate himself from him? Wasn't Obama only a child when William Ayers went on his radical views and statements in the 60's? These questions have already been put to rest on behalf of the Obama camp and it was time to move on to the issues that matter most, the economy, job creation, and health care. But no, just when you think these issues have all been but a memory, here they come again, and this time it could be alot more dangerous.

In recent days, during John McCain campaign stumps, his little "pit bull" puppet Sarah Palin has considerably bashed Barack Obama and even went so far as to have a Sheriff (in full active uniform) call out Barack Obama's full name of Barack Hussein Obama, and tieing him to receiving monies for his campaign from Islamic groups. Now lets put the pieces of this pathetic campaign stump together here and see just what the feeble John McCain is up too. The awnser is very simple, he is trying to put in the minds of the older voters in Florida, Pennsylvania and Ohio that Obama is a "foreigner" and would be "scary" if he takes over the White House.
This probably sounds like crazy talk to many doesn't it? Well maybe not in the minds of the masses that come to a John McCain/Sarah Palin stump speech. All you have to do is listen to the crowds when they make these claims, and the scary thing is, their message is getting through to some people. Recently you can clearly hear a supporter at a campaign stump yelling out "kill him" and "terrorist" when the name of Barrack Obama is brought up. Now we hear that the McCain Camp does not condone this type of message during their campaign, but lets be honest here, this is what they were shooting for all along.

The Republican party has always used the "Fear Campaign" to get their messages across in the past. From the color code system for gauging impending the "terror threat level" all the way to Iraq has weapons of mass destruction and will give them to Bin Laden to strike the U.S. , this common principal of striking fear into the minds of the American people will always get them what they want. And now its reared its ugly head once again in the political field. Trying to link Barack Obama to terrorists by constantly repeating his name over and over again to the masses to invoke a hatred just to get them click the lever next to your name in the voting booth. In all reality, this latest stunt by the John McCain camp could prove to be a dangerous one at that. If the McCain camp keeps up with this "hate" motive and cleverly disguising it as a "question of Obama's character" some nut job out there will see this as an opportunity for a great tragedy.
John McCain you and your camp should publicly apologize for this latest pathetic attempt at discrediting Barack Obama.

So as the "hate" flies from the lips of the McCain camp, and the stock market crumbles away day to day, you have to ask yourself America, is this the type of leader we want in control of our country? A man that will loose his composure and resort to smearing a political rival or for that matter another world leader? A man that is ignoring the blatant fiscal problems that are apparent to us every day just because he's on record stating "he doesn't know enough about it?"
So you keep up with your message of "hate" McCain, your apparent showing of your true colors is now finally showing, funny thing is, haven't we've seen this type of character before? Lets see, slamming false accusations and leading a country to war, letting the economy spiral out of control after years of evidence this was gonna happen, all because " I wasn't aware?" Looks to me like yet another in the seemingly growing likenesses of John McCain and the lame duck himself, George Bush.

I don't know about you, but I am fed up with these failed policies and programs forced on us by Bush, and if elected, his older "twin" McCain will pick right up where he is going to leave off. Two Lame Ducks who rely on the "Fear" campaign is well enough for me.

John McCain, you have no right to verbally bash!

The Presidential race is in the home stretch, and the political mud-slinging is reaching a fever pitch. This weekend is proof positive, Presidential nominee John McCain, has changed his campaign strategy to attack Barack Obama on of all things, his character. I almost fell out of my chair laughing when I heard of this latest attempt of breaking down the integrity of Barack Obama. If anyone should be reviewing their lack of integrity and character, John McCain should take a long long look in a mirror.

If memory serves me correctly, didn't the U.S Congress just recently pass an enormous economic "first aid" bill? But, not one week ago it fell flat right to the floor, overwhelmingly opposed and destroyed by the Republican party. What happened to the new "savior" to the faltering Republican party? Was he not supposed to bring together the Republicans and Democrats together on a political olive branch and get the economy back on track? Well this collaboration never even came to fruition, not even close to be very honest. More Republicans tucked tail and ran for the hills but yet we were told that McCain had brought the Republicans to the table on this and it would pass, well McCain you failed.

So here are we are a week later, the "Bail out rescue" is passed and signed now, so why is it that there's a bad taste here? Oh, that's right, the Republican party finally sucked it up and jumped on the bandwagon to pass this thing. Well what turned it around for them? It wasn't John McCain, it was in fact a familiar term, "Ear-marked, Pork barrel" projects, and they were even given a special name for the Republicans "sweeteners". In case you missed it, and you probably did, certain ear-mark pork barrel programs were NEEDED by certain Republicans in order for them to even put their names next to this proposed bill. Ok, these programs might actually be needed on behalf of the American people right? Hmmm, lets see what they are? Lets look at a few of the organizations that will be receiving tax breaks all in an effort to help benefit the passage of this bill: Film and Television Productions, Wooden Arrows designed for use by children, 6 page package of earmarks for litigants in the 1989 Exxon Valdez incident, Alaska, Virgin Island and Puerto Rican Rum, American Samoa , Domestic Production Activities in Puerto Rico , Auto Racing Tracks , Wool Research . Now factor these into the original bail out plan and now its not a 700 billion dollar plan its now over 800 billion dollars! And this what was needed for the Republicans to go along with this??

This should raise a very serious question with voters come November, isn't there a candidate who has been insistent on eliminating ear-marked pork barrel spending in Washington? Why yes there is, its John McCain. The same John McCain that said he would bring the party together, the same John McCain that said he would veto any ear-marked pork barrel spending bill that came across his desk if he were president, and the same John McCain that insisted that the "fundamentals of our economy were strong". So now I ask you, who is really going to be responsible for raising taxes for the American people given the track record of this "bail out" bill alone? Well the fingers should really point to John McCain. How can he be trusted now? He went against (once again) his own campaign promises, and he cannot even get the confidence of his own party!

Now in the few remaining weeks John McCain plans to attack Barack Obama on character. Basically trying to put doubt in the minds of the American people about Obama's distinctions.
You have got to be kidding me. John McCain actually has the guts to attack someone on this issue? McCain it's very apparent that your floundering campaign is on a desperate level, the American people are starting to see how weak your words are, how you only jump issues just because you're slipping in the polls, and how your VP pick is only a puppet with the ability to spew out pre-fabricated responses just to appease a base that has all but abandoned you.
So you go ahead and attack McCain, keep it up. Because while you're doing all the smearing, your opponent is going ahead with actual policy planning, assuring the American people on Jobs, Health Care, and the Economy. Aren't these the issues that really matter? Well looks as if John McCain should change his campaign slogan, "Putting the issues on the back burner.. Campaign First". Oh wait, does this seem like Deja Vu? That's right, there's someone already in the White House that already does that, looks like McCain and Bush really are alike after all.
